Job Description

Your Role

  • Design, configure, and maintain OSIsoft PI / AVEVA PI System solutions
  • Integrate industrial data from equipment, PLC, SCADA, DCS, or MES systems
  • Structure data within PI Asset Framework
  • Create and optimize dashboards using PI Vision or equivalent tools
  • Ensure the quality, availability, and consistency of industrial data
  • Collaborate with automation, IT, production, quality, and maintenance teams
  • Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and documentation for PI solutions
  • Contribute to industrial digitalization and continuous improvement projects

Requirements

  • Engineering degree or bachelor’s degree in automation, industrial IT, electromechanics, or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an industrial OT environment
  • Experience with OSIsoft PI / AVEVA PI System
  • Good understanding of industrial environments: PLC, SCADA, DCS, MES, OPC
  • Knowledge of PI Data Archive, PI AF, PI Vision, or PI interfaces
  • Fluent in French with a good level of English
  • Analytical mindset, autonomy, rigor, and strong communication skills

Assets

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical or chemical industry
  • Ability to speak Dutch

    Permanent contract (CDI) – 40 hours/week with 1 day of RTT (reduced working time) per month

Responsibilities


The Automation Engineer is responsible for designing automated systems according to customer and legal requirements, you'll :

  • Define functional, technical, and quality requirements
  • Ensure PLC programming, Troubleshooting, technical specifications review
  • Communicate with various project contacts (Management, Production, Quality, Maintenance, etc.)

You'll also be responsible for the quality automation :

  • Provide advice and proposals to obtain the required level of quality for the applications
  • Follow-up of supplier FAT & SAT as well as supplier quality verification
  • Manage change in compliance with good practices


Must have


  • A Master's degree in Electromechanical, Automation, Industrial IT
  • At least 3 years of experience in an industrial sector
  • French & English-speaking proficiency
  • Organization skills, proactivity , and warrior attitude are primordial
  • Team spirit, communication skills, and commitment will make the team succeed

Nice To have


  • Experience in the pharmaceutical or chemical industry
  • Ability to speak Dutch
