Our experience in this international trading company included an european leader in food distribution. During this project, our client wanted to modernize his supply chain management tools and implement new modern solutions. Our client’s goal was to focus on people at the core of the business and let technology handle the remaining and time-consuming tasks. This meant allowing digital procedures to be handled efficiently and enabling the people within the business to use their expertise in more meaningful situations.  
 
We began this process by optimizing the situation, understanding our client’s strategic goals, agreeing to a reasonable timeframe and budget, then implementing the right tools to achieve maximum automatization of redundant tasks. This required a conceptual and functional analysis of the company, stock market optimization, and risk analysis minimization.   
We ensured consistent deployment of IT governance strategy, optimization of efficient use of resources while guaranteeing optimal workforce in a quantitative and qualitative way and optimization of employee satisfaction and performance.



To achieve our client’s proposed goal, the following procedures were implemented:

Enterprise resource planning (ERP) allows for the integrated management of core business processes including product planning service, delivery, and marketing/sales. By managing and interpreting this data, our client is able to collect and store this information to increase areas such as procurement to maximize cost savings while supporting logistic processes. This increased production planning and optimization allow efficient and sustainable asset usage and costs making its implementation necessary.

To be able to choose the best solution possible, a specific analysis needed to be done to identify areas of improvement. A GAP Analysis allowed us to identify these areas to successfully achieve the most efficient project possible.

Additionally, Site Acceptance Test (SAT) and Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) allowed our team to conduct proper testing components in accordance with our clients approved test plans. Each test allowed our team to exercise and test each of these test activities and verify whether they met our test objectives or not.

The successful conclusion of this project resulted in long term working relationship with relevant stakeholders. Increased distribution control for warehouse processes allowed for increase response time for individual challenges and demands. By using GAP Analysis to compare current performance measures with desired performance rates, the implemented increased technology within our client’s business allowed our team to successfully achieve full potential.
